The BBQ script that actually lets you cook. No more "press E and wait." Let's Cook is a full grill-to-customer economy: a hands-on cooking mini-game, server-wide cookouts that pull a crowd, NPC catering missions, and a street-selling hustle. Built for ESX and QBCore, fully server-authoritative, and configurable down to the last item.

🍖 The Interactive Cooking Mini-Game

The heart of the script, and nothing else on the market plays like it. Drag raw meat onto the grill, sear it, flip it at the right moment, baste it with sauce for a glossy lacquered glaze, then plate it at peak doneness.

Skill actually matters. Time it right for a "Perfect", leave it too long and it chars to a crisp. A good baste even widens your perfect window and gives the meat that pitmaster finish.

It's packed with sensory realism: real-time browning, building sear marks, grease flare-ups, rising embers, heat haze, smoke that thickens and darkens as it cooks, and steam off the finished plate. Prefer the classic flow? You can toggle the mini-game off for instant cooking.

🗺️ Host a Cookout

Turn your spot into the place to be. Pay to drop a server-wide map blip that every player on the server can see. It pulls the whole city to your location for a real function, and auto-clears after a configurable timer. It survives disconnects, and late-joiners sync straight in.

🔊 Music Box

A placeable speaker that streams any YouTube or audio URL in 3D positional audio to everyone nearby (via xsound). Set the vibe for your cookout: volume, distance and looping are all configurable.

🚚 Catering Contracts

A catering board inside the grill menu offers random NPC delivery missions. Click a contract for a full mission briefing showing the client, location, the order and the reward.

You can't accept a job until you actually hold the food, so cook it, accept it, drive it out and hand it to the NPC in person. Delivery runs a second anti-drop check, and a fast delivery earns you a speed-tip bonus. Fresh orders roll every time you place a grill.

🤝 Street Selling & Haggling

Start a shift at your grill and walk-up customers come to your stall one at a time. Open the deal, take their offer or haggle for more, with all pricing handled server-side. Hand-to-hand exchange animations sell the immersion.

🥡 Bagging & Boxing

Pack cooked food into bags, buckets, combo boxes and drink carriers. Bags are usable items you can hand to, or sell to, other players and customers.

🛒 Vendor, Props & Setup

An NPC vendor sells raw ingredients, drinks and equipment. Place props anywhere with a clean placement overlay (scroll to rotate, raise or lower, place or cancel): BBQ grill, soda machine, gazebo, tables, chairs, floodlight and music box. Pour fresh drinks at the soda machine.

⚙️ Built Right

ESX and QBCore support out of the box. Everything is server-authoritative: money, items, haggling, deliveries and cooking results are all validated on the server. It works with ox_target, qb-target, or no target system at all (press E instead). Notifications run clean through ox_lib.

Every major feature can be toggled off independently, and the config goes deep: items, prices, recipes, yields, bags, sale prices, contracts, NPC, blips and more.

📋 Requirements

ESX or QBCore, plus ox_lib. Works with ox_inventory, qb-inventory, Quasar (qs-inventory) or ESX, and item definitions are provided for all of them. ox_target or qb-target is optional (keypress mode is built in), and xsound is only needed if you use the Music Box.
